This Public Sector Orientation is a video-based interactive guide that introduces public officers to how the Jamaican public sector works and how they are expected to serve. It covers core values, expected behaviours, workplace rules, government structure, accountability, service excellence, responsible technology use, and continuous learning.
An optional self-paced supplementary reference guide is also available for officers who want to explore the public service in more detail. Through videos, simple activities, scenarios, knowledge checks, and reflections, learners are encouraged to apply what they learn in their daily roles and contribute to a professional, ethical, responsive, and citizen-focused public service.
